Well for a one shot deal try a tablespoon of epsom salt in warm water with a little lemon to mask the flavor. Drink a lot of water. Walk around your house and about 20-30 mins later you’ll be in the bathroom flushing out a lot of crap! For the next couple of days eat only raw fruits and veggies. Cilantro is a wonderful detoxifier. Eat it raw (organic). I also like the yogi detox tea’s.

Also look into virgin coconut oil…this is a great natural detox that works by improving your thyroid which help a lot in weight loss. It has a ton of health benefits! Check it out on earthclinic.com

question madness : What are some good recipes for detox
I really want to do a good detox drink at home. I need to lose weight fast for my sisters wedding and to order it from the Internet can take to longtemps.donc if someone could give me some good recipes to detox so I could use that would super.Oh, and I do not have a blender, it broke a few months ago and I never had another. more with all the things I have to do, cause im super busy, I have no time to go out and buy. so if it could be revenue that u might suggest that I do not need a mixer that would be great! thank you in advance! :) Best answer :

Your liver does an excellent job of detoxifying your body on its own, and so purhcasing a detox diet (or using one of your own creation ) is completely useless. Our bodies are exposed to toxins through the food we eat, air we breathe, the products we use (such as body lotions, shampoos …) etc. .. the list goes on and on. However, these toxins eventually find their way into our intestines (either by digestion or absorption by the blood), and the liver converts these toxins into substances that can be easily and safely excreted by the body. All without the help of a foreign regime détoxifiant.Lors Search detox diets, be wary of the method they use for detoxification. You are drinking a lot / very restrictive diet heavy in nutrients, but completely empty of others. Most of the time, you take an insufficient amount of calories that deplete your body of energy. This is usually the way to detox diets that promise quick weight loss … you take in less calories than you expend and thus lose extreme amounts of weight in a short time, but the weight has a cost. Mainly the weight of water is lost (despite the amount of water you take to counter), followed by lean muscle tissue. It takes more calories to feed muscle growth as growth gras, thus strictly limiting your caloric intake, you are actually stealing your muscles the energy they need for popular soutenir.Un warning when you start a detox diet is that you will spend much time in the bathroom in order to promote a “healthy” digestive system. It’s dangerous because your body is to be quickly relieved of it’s food (“you do not take at all”), but you do not absorb all the nutrients your body needs for good health (including a healthy immune system). The bottom line is: detox diets are useless and dangerous to health to lose weight. If you really intend to do one, attention to the outrageous claims / false (if it seems unbelievable, it probably is) the promise of extreme weight loss (2 pounds per week is the maximum for the loss of health), or excessive restrictions in what you can eat ( ie. fluids, omitting the entire food groups). If you want to safely detox toxins from your system, try simply cutting back on bad fats and calories. Reduce the amount of saturated fat, trans fats, sugars andrefined, and maintain a healthy and balanced diet, rich in “good for you” foods such as lean proteins, fruits / vegetables, whole grains and low fat dairy.

I have just been on hoilday to Serbia and I did not stop eating there, I got fed up like a chubby little piggy! I even put on 5lbs. I am really trying to just detox myself after eating so much for 10 days, any suggestions?

Try foods with high fiber and things with whole grain. Avoid empty calories and saturated/trans fat.
Specifics might be something like a light sandwich, a good breakfast in the morning, etc.

I am on a mission to lose weight and I want to detox my body of all the unhealthy stufff that I have been eating over the past year. I have started out only drinking water. I just need some good advice and please I will not consider diet pills. thanks! What kinds of foods, drinks, anything else would be helpful as well!

i would talk to your doctor to find the best way for you because some of the things that are out there say they are safe but they are not. do some research and talk to your doctor about it. you can just change your diet in small amounts for example, eat boneless skinless chicken, pork with no fat, use olive oil, eat more fruits and veggies, things like that. also doing a quick workout everyday is great. muscles help you burn fat even when you are sleeping ..
