anyone know any good foods or recipes for alcohol detoxing?
not for me, but for my husband… i am just trying to make it easier on him by cooking good foods for him and staying positive :)

As far as recipes, I don’t know. I do know that when I was detoxing, I had to have lots of chocolate.

Also, my sponsor suggested (and it worked) that I keep a bottle of honey handy. And, to take a teaspoon when I got shaky.

Alcohol produces huge amount of sugar in your system. The chocolate and the honey help your body adjust to not having the sugar while you detox.
