Question by steve457: Best way to Detox from choclates n garbage food?
I have been literally eating garbage and basically choclates all day all night since i was in depression and am even now.I want to feel my best and active and be perfectly healthy.First of ll i need to detox my sytem of the years of harm i caused to my body and now it burns and my complexions got dark and pale and my eye circles are horrible and skin is so rough.
Plz tell me what can i do to neutrallize and balance out everything in my system.Have i harmed my body too much.Will i get diabetic since i have been eating only choclates day in nyte out.Will i get gestational diabeties if i get pregnant after 2 3 years .Plz awnser all my questions.
Also do i need to take flax or fish liver oil for my incision from a c section 7 years ago,if i exercise just incase it stretches or no,as i want to do everything to be fit and fine.

Hi,

I am not sure of all the things you have done to harm your body? You sound a little hard on yourself…non of us are perfect, but you may want to contact a nutritionist or join Weight Watchers. You did not say that you need to lose weight, but they offer a great program that can just teach you how to eat better.

Question by Cupcake: What are some good foods to eat whilst detoxting after a very food heavy holiday?
I have just been on hoilday to Serbia and I did not stop eating there, I got fed up like a chubby little piggy! I even put on 5lbs. I am really trying to just detox myself after eating so much for 10 days, any suggestions?

Try foods with high fiber and things with whole grain. Avoid empty calories and saturated/trans fat.
Specifics might be something like a light sandwich, a good breakfast in the morning, etc.

Obviously, it depends how much they weigh to begin with. There are huge differences if a person weighing 60kg goes on the diet and a person weighing 200 goes on the diet (the heavier person would lose more) It also depends on variables like exercise. I would say for an average pesron no more than a few kilos a month.
