I’m a twenty something who got caught up in the stories of people, and, while caught on their stories, made a commitment to helping change their lives.
It took awhile to figure out where I was going to land, and how I was going to do it, but, post six transfers, 15 moves and five trips overseas, I decided to take my journalism degree out on a limb, and create a social enterprise that would not only open the doors for me to help Ugandan women struggling from the effects of AIDS and abuse, but would allow me to write about what I really care about: people.
