Question by Meii: How does body detoxification work?
I’m not looking into it for weight loss like a majority of people are but I’ve started taking an interest in body detoxification. I know there’s this one yoga detox recipe that’s been working for years but I need more information about this.

I don’t want to know about the pills and products I just want to know about the actual detoxification.
Stop advertising your crap to me. I just want to know about how body detox works.

Your liver and kidneys detoxify your body. There aren’t any pills or diets that will do anything to help your body detoxify. Anything that’s sold to help this process is a scam.

“It’s inhuman not to eat meat”? Are you very uneducated at a guess? In actual fact being a vegetarian is healthier, especially if you eat fresh line caught fish -although I don’t.

I’ve been drinking Yogi peach detox tea. Is supposed to help clean out your liver kidneys colon etc etc. It makes you pee a lot though lol

Question by What Dreams May Come: Would it be alright if I did a semi-”fast” and only ate fruits and veggies temporarily for weight loss/detox?

Ok, now that we have *NO SPAM* straightened out, what I want to do is a little something to clear out the muck in my system and then start in on a weight loss protocol. Even if there really isn’t anything “bad” to get rid of, I just think it better to begin with a clean slate, and get the ball rolling easily. I’d return to the other food groups once I got the ball rolling in the “let’s get healthy” direction.
So would it be alright that for a week or two I did a semi-”fast” and only ate fruits & vegetables/drank water & tea?

Its not going to hurt you, but there probably isn’t any need to. A modern diet involves far more meat than a human ideally should be eating anyway, going a week without is not unhealthy.

Gotta love the *NO SPAM*… immediately followed by a post on some random berries that both make you lose and gain wright depending upon what you want to do… hmmm I wonder if that is a load of BS?

Question by You love all the lies: I want to go on a 3 day fast or detox type diet before I start my routine on Monday.?
Ive pretty much been eating like REALLY unhealthy foods for a long time and I want to start my new routine and diet on Monday. However, I want to do a simple detox or fast for 3 days so I can sort of clean my system out b4 I start everything (Diet, Workout). What is a healthy, good menu I could follow to clean myself out in 2-3 days?
